The Chronicles of Cardiac Carl - Gig blog - Prologue

Hello my friends!! I have decided to start writing a blog! Why? Because why not?!

If you follow me on Instagram/tiktok/Facebook/YouTube/etc. (and if you don't you really should - @charlierussellmusic) you'll see that I post a lot of videos from live gigs, performances, and vlogs from show rehearsals.

I love to share these moments with you all using pictures/videos! But a 1-3 minute clip or a single image only shows so much, right? My gigs usually go on for an hour, or the more likely 3 hours, which i wont be filming and uploading. If you want to see the whole show... come watch! They say a picture paints a thousands words, so hopefully in less than a thousand words, I can paint you a picture.

In these blogs, I'm going to try and talk a little bit more at what actually happens at a gig, or any shows/musicals/plays that I'm a part of. That way I can share more stories with you all. These stories will bee things like what happened during them - such as with the crowd, what set list I played, what moments stuck out, how many times i forgot my own lyrics (again), and more.

This blog is called "The Chronicles of Cardiac Carl". For those who don't know, Cardiac Carl is the name of the character on the front of my latest album - Heartbreak Hangover - which I released last year and is available now wherever you stream your music! I thought it would be fun to say that he is actually the story teller, and writer, of these blogs. They're actually about him and not "Charlie Russell".

So I hope you enjoy reading these little blogs, and hopefully as they go on there will be some funny and/or juicy stories in them that will make you giggle, laugh, but never cry... unless its crying with laughter!

Thanks for reading! The Chronicles of Cardiac Carl will begin very soon! Stay tuned!
